METAPHORA:
Echoes of Abstraction
EN
In this body of work, scanning becomes a way of re-seeing. Everyday forms, fragments and organic silhouettes are displaced through scale, proximity and framing until they move away from description and towards ambiguity. What begins as something recognisable is transformed into an image that oscillates between abstraction and presence.
Scale and perception
Changes in scale alter the viewer’s relationship to the image. Small, familiar elements can become monumental, strange or unexpectedly intimate, shifting the work from observation towards interpretation.
Color, form and presence
These works are guided by the interaction between silhouette, colour and visual tension. Rather than documenting an object, they construct an image-world in which form becomes suggestive, unstable and open.
Material and editions
Works are developed as limited editions, with each format produced as a separate edition. Selected works may also evolve through further intervention or expanded formats depending on the project.
